Postal Life Insurance (PLI)

PLI Plans

1. Endowment Assurance — Santosh

Type: Endowment policy

Key Benefit: Provides a lump sum on maturity or on death. Sum Assured + Bonus payable at the end of the policy term.

2. Whole Life Assurance — Suraksha

Type: Whole life policy

Key Benefit: Life cover continues up to age 80. Sum Assured + Bonus is paid on death or at age 80, whichever is earlier.

3. Convertible Whole Life — Suvidha

Type: Convertible whole life

Key Benefit: Can be converted to an Endowment policy after 5 years. Offers flexibility to switch plan mid-term.

4. Money Back — Sumangal

Type: Money back policy

Key Benefit: Periodic survival benefits are paid at regular intervals during the policy term, providing liquidity.

5. Joint Life — Yugal Suraksha

Type: Joint life policy

Key Benefit: Covers husband and wife jointly. Sum Assured + Bonus is paid on the first death or on maturity.

6. Children Policy — Bal Jeevan Bima

Type: Children's insurance

Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI)

RPLI extends insurance coverage to rural areas of India. Available to all residents of rural areas including agricultural workers, artisans, self-employed persons, and women.
